After consultation with all our teams over the summer it became clear that there was a desperate need for training footballs, match balls and first aid kits as well as a lot of other bits and bobs like bibs and cones in order to be ready for the new season. Initial quotes for the equipment everyone needed was in excess of £800. This was a huge sum for us to find at this point in the season and so we reached out to our friends at Burgess Hill Lions Club to see if they could help with funding this essential equipment. Ever keen to help out local young people, they responded with a massive donation of £1000! This meant we were able to kit everyone out with all that they needed and provide everyone with plenty of instant ice packs for their first aid kits too. We cannot thank the Lions enough for their generosity.
